Yael joins 100RC after more than a decade of working as a journalist, covering a broad range of topics including urban planning and design, urban history, cities generally and New York specifically. She is a regular contributor to the Economist and has developed several long form pieces for Urban Omnibus, the magazine of the Architectural League of New York. Born in New York, and raised in Tel Aviv, Rockaway Beach, and Brooklyn, and subsequently spending time in Montreal, Canada and Wellington, New Zealand, Yael has had the opportunity to live and learn in some of the world’s most dynamic urban living laboratories. She earned her BA at McGill University, and her JD from Brooklyn Law School.
