Prior to joining 100 Resilient Cities, David worked for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) in New Delhi, India. While there, he led a report project analyzing the behavior of Commonwealth countries at the UN Human Rights Council, and co-authored a report on the relationship between the Commonwealth Secretariat and civil society. Additionally, he acted as a representative to the Civil Society Innovation Initiative, assisted with the integration of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals into CHRI's work, and helped manage relationships with intergovernmental organizations, governments, and NGOs.
He has also worked for several publications, including the Cambodia Daily, the Hill, and the Chicago Maroon, as well as for the office of Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
David holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Letters, and Society from the University of Chicago.
