Manchester Bidwell

Founded in 1968 by William E. Strickland Jr., Manchester Bidwell Corporation (MBC) adheres to three core values:  people are assets, not liabilities; environment shapes behavior; and, creativity fuels enterprise.  MBC helps a city alleviate unemployment and low graduation rates to break the cycle of unemployment and remove reliance on public resources by helping cities develop Centers for Arts and Technology. Replicated on the Manchester Bidwell’s Educational Model, each Center for Art and Technology offers a combination of adult career training, youth arts education, and social enterprise to address the comprehensive needs of cities.
