Revisiting “The City Resilient”

In this excerpt from a speech Rockefeller President Dr. Judith Rodin Delivered to The City Resilient, an event hosted by PopTech at BAM in 2013, she discusses why it’s important to help cities become more resilient, regardless of the challenges they’ve faced and where they find themselves. We wanted to revisit her comments on why "Our future is an urban future — for the betterment of the world" for World Cities Day this year to drive home the importance of our mission at 100 Resilient Cities.

Please read through the speech, explore the questions we raise in the annotations and offer your answers, and annotate it (within Genius) where you find inspirational, or interesting ideas or anything else you want to emphasize.
