Sam Kernaghan

Sam Kernaghan is Associate Director, City and Practice Management, for the Asia Pacific Region at 100 Resilient Cities.

Sam is an urban planner with over 15 years’ consulting and government experience working in Australia, Asia and the UK. Sam has been fortunate to work on city resilience for the past 10 years including in Sri Lanka post-Asian Tsunami, the NYS 2100 Commission, the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network, the Asian Development Bank’s Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund, and supporting the Greater Sydney Commission’s resilience planning. Sam joined 100RC from Arup’s international development group where he was involved in developing the city resilience framework and index.
