Lynn Seirup brings to 100RC over 30 years of public and private sector experience with data and technology. Prior to joining 100 Resilient Cities, she was Director of the Public Safety GIS Data Development Center at New York City Emergency Management, where she built a geospatial data repository for emergency response and led interagency efforts to improve data management and coordination within city government. Lynn directed mapping operations in the City’s Emergency Operations Center and led the effort to redefine NYC’s hurricane evacuation zones following Superstorm Sandy. Before joining the city, she was a senior manager and programmer in the R&D group at Bloomberg LP for 14 years, where she designed and implemented a global front office trading system.

Lynn holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Oberlin College, a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Geography from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
